Spread Your Wings in Feldenkrais Class with Sheri CohenIn weekly Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® classes this spring, we’ll move easier and more expressively through the upper body, using the image of a bird’s wings as our inspiration. We tend to think of our arms—and use them—as though they are attached at the sleeve seam. In these delightful movement explorations, you will discover that movements of the arms relate importantly to the movements of the ribs, shoulder girdle and neck, all aided by the supporting function of the pelvis and legs. And it goes both ways! Comfortable, clear movements of the arms support healthy back, leg and hip actions. So, come spread your wings—reach better, breathe better, do more of what you want to be doing, better!
